our cancellation policy.
covid & perfectly queer
unfortunately we are still seeing the devastating effects from the pandemic, almost 2 years after we first learnt about it.
the safety of our talent and our customers is the most important thing to us. many have asked us what our plan is around covid, so I thought I would outline it all on this page.
of course if you have any further questions, please reach out to us via email.
for our customers
our talent will not be attending any events where there has been a confirmed or close contact, no matter how mild anyones symptoms are.
it’s essential that you let us know ASAP if you are impacted and we will offer to move to another date and time. if we move to a time and date that isn’t suitable for your confirmed talent, we may need to find someone else for your booking.
if you need to cancel the event altogether, a full or partial refund may be available. please send us an email and we can discuss the options. refunds depend on how much notice we are given and the reason for the cancellation. whilst it may be frustrating, it’s unfair to our talent to cancel on them last minute without some kind of compensation. this is why we prefer to reschedule rather than cancel.
if we need to cancel we will reach out to you as soon as possible. events will only be cancelled as a last measure as we will do our best to find new talent, but with how contagious this latest strain is, this can be tough. if in the unlikely instance we can not find anyone, we will offer a full refund.
we know this sucks but there is nothing we can do about it. you have our word that we will do whatever we can to help out, but these are the times we are living in.
our talent operate as independent contractors. time is the most valuable thing to them. putting it simply, if they become unwell, they lose their income, so we must take these covid measures seriously.
for our talent
all talent represented by Perfectly Queer will now be required to be fully vaccinated, including booster shots where applicable & available.
you are responsible for your own safety. not just events where you are booked, but your every day life. social distance as much as you can, wash your hands and wear a mask as much as possible.
if you have any confirmed bookings and you become a close contact, or you return a positive rapid antigen test, you need to let us know immediately. we will then communicate to the customer and try to find alternate talent. your help in finding a replacement will also be appreciated.
there are no exceptions to any the above. if you are unwell, get tested. the safety of yourself, our customers and the community rely on you to be on top of your own health during this pandemic.
please get in touch if you need any help during this time. I will do my best to assist where I can.
rules and regulations change almost daily about this pandemic. I will do my best to keep this page updated with any changes.
what is most important is that we are stay safe and well.
we appreciate your understanding during this time and as always happy to answer any questions you may have via email.
